By The White Line was created on the sidelines of local football grounds, where Rachel Bach first started to capture sports content. There, she sought to combine her love of sport and design. Since then, Rachel has worked extensively in the sport world.
For Rachel, emotion is everything in storytelling. It allows her to tell stories in a unique way. Her ability to develop trusting relationships with athletes allows her to produce content that you wouldn’t normally see.
“Rach captures people and their stories, passion and pride, heartbreak and ecstasy in a way that I’ve never seen before.”
- Steph Catley, Matildas and Arsenal footballer
Rachel is based in Melbourne, Australia, but has travelled across the globe for a range of projects. In the football world, she has covered World Cups, Asian Cups, Olympic qualifiers, international friendlies, and national leagues across multiple countries. She currently works as the Matildas’ in-camp photographer. When she’s not travelling with the team, Rachel freelances, often finding herself working with brands to produce lifestyle, portrait and product imagery.
